Green field project waste to energy plant as owner’s engineer and construction manager as participant within the Rankine Group™.
Capacity 230.000 mt waste/year, start project autumn 2005, delivered May 2011.

SPE Izegem:
Turnkey project for the conversion from a combined cycle plant into a single cycle installation.
Basically a HP boiler (150 mt/hr) is replaced by a steel stack, without change of skyline thus avoiding producer for renewing environmental permits.

AVI Twence:
Design of a safe internal Scaffolding Support Structure for a WTE boiler.
This is an unique hanging construction, which is designed, calculated, manufactured and built by HiLux5. The whole is statically determined to withstand all possible stressful situations.
The safety during maintenance under and above the grate has been improved significantly and downtimes are reduced. We guarantee fast modular support structures and safe working conditions.
Specific tasks and responsibilities of HiLux5:- Development, engineering en production of a scaffolding support structure;
- Necessary modifications on boilers.
On October 25th 2010 Twence BV Afval has been proclaimed by OSHA Europe (www.OSHA.europa.eu) as the winner of the ‘Good Practices Competition’ with the submission of our innovative and safe scaffolding structure. This hanging construction is designed, calculated and manufactured by HiLux5.
Meanwhile, based on this philosophy, the majority of the Dutch WTE boilers are equipped with safe scaffolding supporting structures by HiLux5.
Joint Forces Power Plant Services (JFPPS):Joint Forces is a cooperation between:

RWE (Essent) has appointed JFPPS as the main contractor for boilers and steel structures at the site of Essent Maasbracht.
As main contractor of RWE our expertise is also implemented at other locations, for example Amercentrale Geertruidenberg and WKC Moerdijk.

HiLux5 is a successful intermediary. Various transactions of Power Plants in the range from 30 to 600 MWE.

Ansaldo Thomassen:
Dismantling, packing and transport of a Frame 6 gas turbine generator set from EXXON Antwerp to the Ansaldo facilities at Rheden.
Borsig Boiler Systems:
Construction Management of two direct-fired boilers on location EDEA Chemelot at Geleen.
